Melania Trump made a fashionable impression when she touched down in Tel Aviv with her husband Donald Trump on the second leg of his first trip overseas.
The first lady was spotted wearing a stark white skirt suit as she deplaned from Air Force One. She and Trump were greeted by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his wife Sara on the tarmac.
While there have been extraordinary ceremonial welcomes for the first family in the Saudi kingdom something heartwarming just happened in Israel to Melania, proving that these people are welcoming the Trumps not as guests, but as a family.
The Israeli First Lady Sara Netanyahu gave a lovely welcoming to Melania:
“I talk every place about her, how great she is. And how great you are.
I can testify to that. Because a majority of the people in Israel, unlike the media, they love us.
So we tell them how you are great so they love you. We have very much in common.
We’ll talk about it over dinner.”
The president and first lady later visited the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and the Western Wall in Jerusalem.
They are scheduled to dine with Netanyahu and his wife later in the evening.
