Videos showing Tomahawk land attack missiles being launched from the Mediterranean against the Syrian military Shayrat airfield early Friday have been released by the US Navy.
US Navy has also uploaded footage from the guided-missile destroyer USS Porter as it was firing missiles at the airbase, located near the city of Homs.
“The guided-missile destroyer USS Ross (DDG 71) conducts strike operations while in the Mediterranean Sea,. Ross, forward-deployed to Rota, Spain, is conducting naval operations in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of operations in support of U.S. national security interests in Europe,” it said in the description.

The U.S. guided missile destroyers USS Ross and USS Porter launched 59 Tomahawk Land Attack Missiles on April 7, 2017 that struck the Al Shayrat airbase in Syria believed to be the origin of a chemical weapon strike on the town of Khan Sheikhoun.
