Barack Obama’s old felonious pal reared his anti-American head during the anti-Trump protest, reportedly helping to plan the violence in the streets of Washington, D.C.
William Ayers, the man who hosted Barack Obama’s political launch party in his living room, was behind the Donald Trump protests over the weekend. Ayers was one of the founders of the Weather Underground, a domestic terrorist group active during the 1970s.
Bill Ayers insists he is “absolutely not” a domestic terrorist, but the FBI appears to staunchly disagree with that self-assessment. According to declassified FBI reports on the Weather Underground, reports that the mainstream press ignored and were public prior to the 2008 presidential elections, in the section entitled, “A Byte Out of History: 1975 Terrorism Flashback: State Department Bombing:” the FBI wrote:
“Twenty-nine years ago Thursday, an explosion rocked the headquarters of the U.S. State Department in Washington, D.C. No one was hurt, but the damage was extensive, impacting 20 offices on three separate floors,” an excerpt from the FBI report reads.
Just several hours after the explosion in the capitol, another bomb was discovered at a military induction center in Oakland, California. The bomb was located in time and safely detonated.
In the same report, the FBI deemed Bill Ayers’s organization “a domestic terrorist group” when noting the Weather Underground claimed responsibility for the attacks.
The Weather Underground was initially named the Weatherman. The moniker was taken from a lyric in a Bob Dylan song.
The Weatherman were known as a small yet violent spin-off group of the Students for a Democratic Society (SDS), which was created during the 1960s.
After the SDS fell apart on 1969, the Weather Underground sprang up and pushed its anarchist ideology forward, fully embracing crime and violence as a manner of protest. “Our intention is to disrupt the empire…to incapacitate it, to put pressure on the cracks,” the group’s 1974 manifesto, Prairie Fire, said.
By 1970, the Weather Underground had claimed credit for a grand total of 25 bombings on American soil. Bill Ayers’s group went on to claim to have been involved in multiple further bombings during the early part of that decade.
Yep, this is the type of person Obama hung out with when plotting his rise to the White House. With Bill Ayers as a force behind the anti-Trump protests, it’s a good thing Kellyanne Conway and other members of President Donald Trump’s senior staff have Secret Service protection.
